Motor Dicuri saat Kunci Masih Menempel, Pelaku di Samarinda Jual Cuma Rp1,2 Juta
SAMARINDA– Unit Reskrim Polsek Sungai Kunjang mengungkap kasus pencurian sepeda motor yang terjadi di kawasan Teluk Lerong Ulu, Kota Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim).
Kasus ini bermula dari laporan seorang warga bernama Andi Wasisto. Ia kehilangan motor miliknya pada Rabu dini hari, 18 Juni 2025.
Motor tersebut diparkir di depan rumahnya di Jl. P. Antasari, Gang Padat Karya No. 86 RT 30, dengan posisi kunci masih menempel. Saat keluar rumah, Andi mendapati motornya raib.
Rekaman CCTV menunjukkan seorang pria tak dikenal membawa kabur kendaraan itu. Korban pun mengalami kerugian sekitar Rp8 juta dan langsung melapor ke Polsek Sungai Kunjang.
Bermodalkan laporan dan bukti CCTV, tim opsnal Polsek bergerak cepat.
Pada Rabu, 9 Juli 2025 sekira pukul 03.00 WITA, petugas berhasil menangkap pelaku utama berinisial YW. Kepada polisi, YW mengaku mencuri motor tersebut.
Pengembangan dilakukan. Hasilnya, tersangka kedua berinisial AD diringkus pada Rabu, 16 Juli 2025 pukul 15.00 WITA di Jl. Perkebunan, RT 04, Kelurahan Batu-Batu, Kecamatan Muara Badak, Kutai Kartanegara.
Motor curian ditemukan di tangan AD. Dari pengakuan YW, motor itu dijual kepada AD pada hari yang sama seharga Rp1,2 juta.
Kapolsek Sungai Kunjang menegaskan bahwa pihaknya akan terus menindak tegas pelaku tindak kriminal, khususnya pencurian kendaraan bermotor.
“Kami imbau warga lebih waspada. Pastikan motor terkunci dengan aman, meskipun hanya ditinggal sebentar,” ujarnya.
Polisi juga mengingatkan agar masyarakat segera melapor jika melihat aktivitas mencurigakan di lingkungan sekitar.
