Seorang pria berinisial AM (32) ditangkap di pinggir Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kelurahan Muara Rapak, Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, pada Selasa (8/7/2025) sekira pukul 17.30 WITA.
BALIKPAPAN– Tim Satresnarkoba Polresta Balikpapan kembali mengungkap peredaran narkotika di wilayah hukumnya. Seorang pria berinisial AM (32) ditangkap di pinggir Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kelurahan Muara Rapak, Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, pada Selasa (8/7/2025) sekira pukul 17.30 WITA.
Penangkapan dilakukan setelah polisi menerima laporan dari masyarakat dan melakukan penyelidikan sesuai Laporan Polisi Nomor: LP/Juli…/2025/SPKT.SATRESNARKOBA/POLRESTABALIKPAPAN/POLDA KALTIM.
Saat diamankan, polisi menemukan satu paket sabu seberat 0,32 gram brutto. Barang bukti tersebut disembunyikan dalam kotak rokok bekas bertuliskan “Truck Mango” warna kuning.
Pelaku diketahui merupakan warga Jalan DI Panjaitan, Gang Sederhana, Kelurahan Gunung Sari Ulu, Kecamatan Balikpapan Tengah. Ia bekerja di sektor swasta.
AKP Safarudin, SH, Wakasat Resnarkoba Polresta Balikpapan, mewakili Kasat Resnarkoba Kompol Bangkit Danjaya, SH, MA, menjelaskan bahwa pelaku tidak kooperatif saat diamankan.
“Saat ditangkap, pelaku justru melawan dan menantang petugas. Tapi akhirnya berhasil diamankan tanpa ada perlawanan yang lebih jauh,” jelasnya.
Setelah dilakukan penggeledahan badan dan kendaraan, sabu ditemukan tersimpan dalam kotak rokok tersebut.
Kepada petugas, pelaku mengaku membeli sabu itu di kawasan Gunung Bugis seharga Rp150 ribu dari seseorang yang tidak ia kenal. Transaksi dilakukan tanpa banyak tanya, dan langsung dibawa pergi.
Kini, AM telah diamankan di Mapolresta Balikpapan bersama barang bukti untuk menjalani proses hukum lebih lanjut.
Pelaku dijerat dengan Pasal 114 Ayat (1) subsider Pasal 112 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika. Ia terancam hukuman penjara maksimal 20 tahun. [SON]
