Polres Berau Bongkar Sindikat Sabu, 1 Kg Lebih Diamankan di Sambaliung
BERAU— Tiga pengedar sabu berhasil diciduk Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Berau dalam penggerebekan yang berlangsung Jumat (11/7/2025) di kawasan Jalan Poros Suaran, Kelurahan Sambaliung, Kecamatan Sambaliung, Kabupaten Berau.
Ketiganya yakni MN (22), FE (32), dan YU (35), seluruhnya pria. Dari tangan mereka, polisi menyita sabu seberat lebih dari 1 kilogram.
Barang bukti yang diamankan berupa satu paket besar sabu dengan berat 1.017 gram, plastik ungu pembungkus sabu, dua unit ponsel, dan satu mobil warna silver yang diduga digunakan untuk mengangkut barang haram tersebut.
Kasat Resnarkoba Polres Berau, AKP Agus Priyanto, menjelaskan bahwa operasi tersebut bermula dari laporan warga yang mencurigai aktivitas transaksi narkoba di wilayah Sambaliung.
“Tim langsung melakukan penyelidikan sejak pagi. Ketiga pelaku akhirnya ditangkap sekitar pukul 11.30 Wita,” ujar AKP Agus.
Saat dilakukan penggeledahan, petugas menghadirkan warga sekitar sebagai saksi. Proses pun berjalan terbuka dan lancar. Setelah sabu ditemukan, ketiga pelaku digelandang ke Mapolres Berau untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
AKP Agus menegaskan bahwa Polres Berau akan terus menggencarkan pemberantasan narkotika.
“Ketiga tersangka dijerat dengan Pasal 114 ayat (2) Jo Pasal 132 ayat (2) atau Pasal 112 ayat (2) Jo Pasal 132 ayat (2) Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika,” tegasnya.
Menurutnya, peredaran narkotika sudah menjadi ancaman serius yang harus ditindak tegas. Polres Berau akan terus bergerak melakukan penindakan agar generasi muda di Berau tidak menjadi korban.
“Kami berkomitmen melindungi masyarakat. Tidak akan ada tempat bagi pengedar narkoba di wilayah ini,” tutup AKP Agus. [PRA/GUS]
