Kualifikasi F1 GP Austria: Norris Cetak Waktu Fantastis, Leclerc dan Piastri Terkejut
KALTIM – Drama terjadi di sesi kualifikasi Formula 1 GP Austria 2025 yang digelar Sabtu (28/6/2025) malam WIB di Sirkuit Red Bull Ring. Lando Norris tampil sensasional dan sukses merebut pole position, unggul jauh atas rival-rivalnya.
Norris mencetak waktu tercepat 1 menit 03,971 detik, sekaligus memecahkan rekor selisih waktu terbesar sepanjang musim ini. Ia unggul hampir 0,5 detik dari Charles Leclerc di posisi kedua.
Di posisi ketiga ada rekan setim Norris, Oscar Piastri, disusul Lewis Hamilton yang menunjukkan peningkatan performa berkat upgrade Ferrari di Austria.
Sementara itu, juara dunia bertahan Max Verstappen harus puas start dari posisi ketujuh. Ia gagal memaksimalkan kesempatan terakhir di segmen Q3 karena insiden yellow flag saat Pierre Gasly melintir di lintasan.
Dominasi Norris sudah terlihat sejak awal. Di segmen Q1, ia menjadi yang tercepat, sementara Carlos Sainz dan Yuki Tsunoda secara mengejutkan langsung tereliminasi. Mereka hanya menempati posisi 18 dan 19.
Tiga pembalap lainnya yang gagal lolos ke Q2 adalah Lance Stroll (P16), Esteban Ocon (P17), dan Nico Hulkenberg (P20).

Di segmen Q2, Norris kembali tampil dominan. Sedangkan lima pembalap lainnya harus terhenti langkahnya. Mereka adalah:

Lando Norris tampil luar biasa dan mempertahankan dominasinya. Hasil ini sekaligus menjadi modal kuat untuk balapan F1 GP Austria 2025 yang akan digelar malam ini pukul 20.00 WIB.
