PANGKEP— Ajang balap motor bergengsi Kapolres Cup 2025 siap digelar di Sirkuit Sobat Karaeng Mallobassang, Kabupaten Pangkep. Event ini akan berlangsung selama dua hari, mulai 19 hingga 20 Juli 2025.
Perlombaan ini dipastikan bakal menjadi magnet baru bagi para pecinta otomotif dan komunitas balap dari seluruh Sulawesi Selatan.
Panitia pelaksana, Abdullah Abuchair atau akrab disapa Bang Dull, menyebutkan bahwa event ini akan mempertandingkan tiga kelas utama: Kejurnas Motorprix, SSCP, dan Supporting Race.
“Bukan hanya soal kecepatan, ini juga tentang pembinaan atlet balap muda dan promosi pariwisata Pangkep,” ujar Bang Dull, Rabu (3/7/2025).
Kelas utama ini akan diikuti pembalap nasional dari berbagai daerah. Berikut subkelasnya:
MP1: Bebek 150 cc 4 Tak Tune Up Expert
MP2: Bebek 150 cc 4 Tak Tune Up Novice
MP3: Bebek 150 cc 4 Tak Standar Rookie
MP4: Bebek 150 cc 4 Tak Standar Beginner
SSCP (Special Sport Community Privateer) – Kombinasi Mesin & Skill

Menurut Bang Dull, Kapolres Cup 2025 bukan hanya sekadar ajang adu cepat di lintasan. Lebih dari itu, event ini diharapkan menjadi wadah kebangkitan pembalap muda, sekaligus mempromosikan potensi pariwisata Pangkep lewat sport tourism.
“Kami ingin balap motor jadi bagian dari hiburan rakyat dan ajang sport tourism yang berkelas,” katanya.
Event ini juga diharapkan bisa mendongkrak ekonomi lokal lewat kehadiran penonton dan pelaku UMKM dari berbagai daerah. [IRWAN]
